HER MAJESTY (HM) Queen Margrethe II of Denmark will travel to Yogyakarta and Jakarta in the near future, the Danish Ambassador to Indonesia His Excellency (HE) Casper Klynge told Yogyakarta reporters, Wednesday (May 13, 2015).
HM Queen Margrethe II, Mr Klynge said, is interested in knowing about Yogyakarta’s culture including Batik – a form of fabric dyeing techniques using wax, originated in Indonesia – and also Javanese textile industry.
HE Casper Klynge, who just had a meeting with Yogyakarta Governor (also serves as Monarch of Yogyakarta) Sultan Hamengkubuwono X, added, HM Queen Margrethe II will also be talking to Indonesia about plans to trade and environmentally friendly investment cooperation.
No dates have been announced for the planned visit and both sides are discussing details of the trip.***[firstname.lastname@example.org]
